About

What this site is, who writes it, and how the prompt guides are produced.

What this site is

DDCherry publishes prompt engineering guides for AI fashion and beauty portraiture. The focus is commercial usability: photos you can put on a product listing, a lookbook, or a social feed without them screaming "AI generated".

Every guide is built around the same premise — the gap between a mediocre AI portrait and a convincing one is almost never the model you use. It is how precisely you describe lighting, lens, styling, and pose. That is a photography problem, not a software problem, and it is learnable.

Who this is for

Ecommerce sellers who need model shots for clothing, jewellery, or beauty products. Content creators who need a steady supply of on-brand imagery. Photographers and designers who want to understand how commercial styles translate into prompts.

How the guides are made

Prompts are tested in ChatGPT (GPT Image) before they are published. Example images are generated by the author using the exact prompts shown on the page — not sourced from stock libraries or other people's work.

When a prompt stops working because the underlying model changed, the guide gets updated and the change is noted. AI image models shift underfoot; a guide that is not maintained is a guide that quietly becomes wrong.

Editorial stance

This site covers fashion, beauty, and commercial portraiture. It does not publish sexualised content, and it does not teach techniques for generating images of real, identifiable people without their consent.

That is partly an ethics position and partly a practical one: the ecommerce and creator audiences this site serves need images they can put their brand name next to.
